@Demolishun I'm trying smth fun. It seems very hot now in Linux world: ghostty. It's a terminal. It has built splitting panes, one view of all open tabs, easy shortcut handing (you could put your password under a key or so) and easy config file. It's also GPU accelerated. I like it, the shortcuts too... But it load on my laptop a little bit slower than xfce4 terminal and resizing even goes less smooth imho.

Also, I've learned today that there's a gcc version that will push any possible value to your functions to check if it crashes. That's how vulnerable stuff is found. Very cool.
