Yep, starving myself feels easier if I eat something. My body does notice if I fast, but it completely misses a huge caloric deficit.
I get more weight drop by eating two eggs a day (and nothing else) than when I fast. I have no idea why.
Anyway, I decided that eating about 400 calories a day will get me to my destination faster than not eating at all, just because it's more sustainable.

    I can imagine, my mom had the book "ik ben slank want ik eet" What is dutch for "I'm thin because I eat".

    If you're eating two eggs a day and nothing else, the extra weight loss is probably bits of your own organs running away from the smell.

    I wish I could get back on solid Keto. That was the healthiest I've ever been. Meat, salads and cheeses. Lots of stir fry. For ~4 solid years I was at 59kg (~130 lbs) (I'm 160cm or 5"2). I could cycle farther and weight training was a lot easier.

    It's much more difficult to stay low carb now that I'm back in America. If I went the "eat two eggs" a day route, I'm sure I'd fail. Staying healthy is difficult.

    @chatgpt would eating nothing but eggs cause particularly malodorous flatulence?

    @donkulator
    Eating nothing but eggs can lead to an increase in sulfur-containing compounds which can contribute to malodorous flatulence. This is because eggs contain high levels of sulfur compounds, particularly in the egg whites. Consuming a diet consisting solely of eggs can disrupt the balance of gut bacteria, leading to increased production of foul-smelling gas. It's important to maintain a balanced diet to avoid digestive issues and unpleasant odors.
