Sometimes the whole world is crazy and not you. I'm not even kidding. Accept it and move on. If you take everything around you and the news serious, you'll become insane. Rationalizing the world is a process that will fail in a terrible way. I can't watch the news without doing serious damage to myself so I just don't and accept that there are things are not explainable. If I don't invest time into negative stuff, the world is freaking beautiful and happy. The world in my case is a small village, I decided not to care much about things outside that. Sounds egoistic, but for me it's the only way to live and be happy. I see no reason to change that. Everyone is caring about all shit already, I'm sure I can be missed.

TLDR; it would make me sad, but if devrant or anything else you can't change is toxic for your mind, leave that thing. I say this because I care about you.

@retoor well, i was referencing the epstein incident. Its so stupid how everyone talks about how Putin’s a cruel psycho dictator, but so few actually seem to ask themselves the why behind it. Why did Putin justify the invasion with the “nazi”-premise? Why did he go so all-in on Ukraine EIGHT years after he spat NATO in the face so bad by breaking multiple agreements with the annexation of crimea? Makes you go down some funny rabbitholes about which tou cant talk with nobody without being categorized as a tinfoil psycho thanks to the ambigious information out there

I tried to be as neutral as i could, and i also came across the cuban missile crisis, which is literally the best proof of history repeating itself imo.

Also i read about how the West installed a dictator in chile to prevent communism from spreading in south america, which didnt go so well for the chilean population either.

My parents are from Russia. We do get first hand information of the fucked up shit being told to the russian people.

However, i am not an advocate of the West either. They did the same fucked up stuff to other countries, just differently.

But to “follow through” on the nazi narrative: Putin made a strawman out of the whole argument by tearing Ukraines nationalist history out of the TEMPORAL CONTEXT.

And the same applies to Ukraine. Nationalism with the TEMPORAL context was the emergence of identity as a nation.

And exactly thats why i could not talk to anybody about this, because just the word nationalism, especially in Germany, makes everyone associate it with the Third Reich, which was a much more radical of ethno-nationalism, which led to the holocaust.

By the way, we get to watch the videos of the burnt up people in 7th grade, where we are about 13/14. NO ONE made any Hitler jokes after this ever.

The problem with the world right now is that everyone gets so fucking tied up about their beliefs and whatnot that they feel obliged to take everything which even in the slightest might challenge their ideas as a personal attack. No one gives a fuck about the truth anymore, its all this pink haired sheman vs Jordan Peterson, Dementia vs Lizard, USA vs China / Russia / whoever doesnt cherish capital reality show right now.

@jestdotty Sorry for my outburst, I am having my own wars to fight. But what i meant with temporal context is the time when Ukraine grew a large nationalist following, which was like 1800-1950 maybe i dint know exactly. And not even the form of nationalist which cleanses its populations “lesser” ethnic parts.

Not like russia, nor germany. They both killed millions, but broadcasting to the public that Ukraine has to be “denazified” is a spit into your face after getting robbed, kicked and lied to.
