lol, reddit is a shitpool. Cesspool is too good a word for reddit. I like the programming forums there. And triggering people in r/skyrim.
-
@Demolishun I upvote you for trolling reddit. those pansies need some help. the shillbots did a number
wonder when USAID will be found to be why reddit is even up. I think that company should be bankrupt now but it isn't. they have way less users than they say they have. it's just a giant psy-ops operation. and it harms public discourse -- that's its purpose. really irks me. the Canadian subs are so fucked. it's literally controlling the political climate in Canada and fucking shit up -
Thought. Should we make a r/devrant? In case world dies? Would we violate reddit rules first day?
edit: I should probably check out snek. I keep avoiding it. -
UberSalt3622dreddit is good for 2 things, nudity and toxicity in gaming communities, which I find particularly enjoyable for some reason lol.
-
@UberSalt no they're blocking the nudity now even...
I used to use gifs from there. but then they said you have to use some red gif thing and you can't play videos from that unless you sign up so effectively I can't play them anymore and they took away my porn. literally they totalled the porn ecosystem, at least the one I was using anyway
and ofc I'm not making accounts for porn. what's next, an ID?! none of your business! you're not invited to this! 😩🤢 -
@UberSalt r/skyrim is toxic to anyone who likes pretty women in their game. They also are toxic to modders. Like wtf, the game was designed to modded. It is fun to trigger them about certain characters in game they feel like they need to protect. Then pretend like they are not simps for the character.

Guy asked for advice on how to implement something. I give him advice. Another person flips me off saying “he didnt want to read a novel”
Wtf?? -
retoor672323h@Chewbanacas Kinda just now happened to me, i wanted to help a stranger i met on reddit on how to implement AI agents. He had the attention span of a tea spoon and even my five minute examples were too long for him. Hopeless.
Everything has to be learnt in three minutes these days else it's a study or smth. -
retoor672323h@Lensflare what just annoys it, i mix a half year of knowledge in a clean package of a hour or something with only quality content and can answer any question he has about it. But it's not enough you know. I mean, what the fuck. What the actual fuck. So you know, even LLM's can't satisfy them probably.
-
Chewbanacas83023h@retoor Yea Reddit kinda shot their own knee there. After remembering how grateful i felt for people answering my questions so thoroughly i wanted to give back at least something to a rookie in Python. Usually I scrape it off but sometimes once or twice already i got responses on there which did hurt more than expected. Especially since the toxicity came literally out of nowhere.
-
jestdotty680521h@retoor wait I care about how to implement AI agents
I don't know why info on AI things is impossible to find
did you feed your AIs custom data? like for example all your code repos so it could code like you? I also have 3 years worth of dairy entries and notes about various things I wanna feed it so that I could "talk" to my notes -
jestdotty680521h@Chewbanacas huh, interesting. you're making r/rust subreddit sound good. I posted some really weird and meta questions on there about architecture and loads of people gave me varied answers and nobody attacked anyone. even when I was interrogating some people about their ideas (which often people get defensive during but it's how I learn things)
-
Chewbanacas83021h@jestdotty surely Reddit has nice people as well, i didnt want to generalize. A few very negative experiences do stick for longer than many positive ones though.
-
Demolishun3688521h@Chewbanacas one problem with reddit is there are people who only troll. I block people like that.
My favorite interaction was someone who told me this:
"I looked at your post history and it gave me cancer. I hope you grow as a person."
Someone who would get triggered by my post history actually looked at my post history. Some thing are just self rewarding. I think this person has some kind of internal rage and cannot outright say what they want because of reddit rules. Which is even funnier. They knew the first part was offensive, but tried to appear like a better person than they actually were with the second part. -
retoor672320h@jestdotty here's how to add content to AI agents and general info about them: https://molodetz.nl/retoor/ragent.
The source code directly maps to the typescript api. It's all the same, it's a good resource. -
retoor672310h@Lensflare ironically, I'm too cool to pin versions, it stopped working yesterday due an openai client update. I had to pin the version of my bots to repair them after deploy. But no joke, thus lib is a huge succes, the bots in snek are made very well thanks to this. Snek is advancing, soon ill invite everyone. It's already a wholesome community.

UberSalt3628h@retoor you can't be one, you are no virgin, sorry to burst your bubble ( pun intended )
I'm not allowed to post something in Reddit because not high enough reputation. So first, i have to say something that others LIKE?
Fine, first i'll sell my soul and then i'll keep posting stuff OTHERS like because else i can't post stuff anymore.
Oh my god, reddit, you really hate unqiue opinions, don't you.
