@AvatarOfKaine Of course it is. Ericsson isn't Huawei, but it it is still big in the telecom equipment market - and they still use their language to make their own products as reliable and scalable as possible.

@AvatarOfKaine Not the actual phones. But they use it for controlling the switches and other telecom backbone provider stuff. The "OTP" in "Erlang/OTP" stands for "Open Telecom Platform".

@AvatarOfKaine Hey, that is how the IT business looked like back then. Everyone had to look like a fuckin bankster. But Erlang is pretty good and they even FOSSed it.
