Hope I die in my sleep tonight. I hate my career!

Death is a bit extreme for that. Just switch careers.

    Careful what you wish for.

You might get what you've asked and then what?

Who's going to fix production? Not your boss, that's for sure.

    THINK OF THE SHAREHOLDERS!

Better yet: make HR and the management die in their sleep.

@devphobe I’m treated like a 2nd class citizen I have no career growth opportunities I’ve been working in tech 25 years ive busted my ass but am just a nobody contractor taking orders expected to produce miracles and have no voice in my job plus I’m financially insecure

@easyrhino ouch. I hate the way my own company treats contractors. We use several on our team as full-time staff members , but they don’t get the benefits or rewards we do as staff. I hope it works out for you. I imagine standing up and demanding respect gets a reaction of “you’re expendable ?” I don’t know much about your situation, but I hate feeling powerless. I hope it works out for you.

I hate my career! Every day feels the same, and I don’t feel any passion for what I do. I feel stuck, like I’m wasting my time on something that doesn’t make me happy. But changing careers is scary—what if I fail? Still, I know I deserve better. Maybe it’s time to take a risk and find something that truly makes me feel alive.

I totally get how you feel. I used to hate my career too, feeling stuck and unmotivated. That’s why I decided to switch paths and prepare for an MBA. Studying for the GMAT wasn’t easy, but finding the best gmat study materials https://gmatclub.com/blog/... made a huge difference. If you’re thinking about a change, it’s never too late to start something new!
