How much exercise do you guys tend to do? There's definitely a stereotype that developers aren't particularly sporty, but I break that mould (gym, squash, rock climbing, skiing, etc)

Any other sporty developers out there?

    In middle school I used to run cross country. I even won a few races.
    But now, you are better off getting a rock to move than getting me to get out of my seat.

    But seriously: I love going on a bike ride and playing badminton and volleyball.

    I wrestled and ran cross country And track in High School. My cousin's all lived close and were wrestlers to, so we sometimes for into it at during the holidays. But that has been a few years. Actually really miss it.

    I'm stagnant, but I want to go to the gym or do something at some point. I'm starting to gain weight and that's worrying to me...

    But I don't have enough money to go to the gym and it's getting to cold to walk outside...

    It's a vicious cycle.

    i used to play ultimate frisbee but i had to move to another city and now i only do finger sports on the keyboard

    I play Basketball. I integrate basketball team work back to Work place. Sort of. I do training for Basketball and able to put the same philosophy back to programming. Sports give me more energy to code. In fact, I found things are connected

    I used to run and work out till health issues stopped me, but I'll get back to it when I'm fit again. I see a 50 50 split where I work, half don't work out the other half do.

    @RiderExMachina you can always find excuses but they don't help.
    There is more than enough you can do at home with body weight.. google it 😀

    I ride my bike pretty much every day, also do some yoga and bodyweight training regularly.

    Sitting all day at the computer isn't really good for one's health, some exercise is necessary.

    Some running, normal exercises(pull-ups, push-ups, etc), football (soccer), padel and I used to do bodyboard.

    Karate, Wakeboarding and occasionally football. I love Snowboarding and skiing as well! Although I only seem to have chosen sports that will destroy my knees :(

    I wouldn't be able to manage if I didn't do sports though, it's the only think that keeps me sane during stressful periods!

    Good day! I don't agree with this opinion. All my friends are developers and they all like sports! For example I often go to the gym, play football and run at the stadium. Also I follow motorsport https://probettingz.com/motosport/ it is something like my hobby!

    For me, staying active has always been important, even with a busy schedule. I do a mix of activities—mostly running, swimming, and yoga.
