Haven't started this project yet, but I've been considering ordering another Raspberry Pi and turning it into a voice assistant using Mycroft. I've been wanting to play around with IoT stuff for a while, and since I'm practically confined to my apartment for the foreseeable, there's no better time to get started.

Has anyone checked out Mycroft? Not Mycroft Holmes, but the AI framework. I'm interested in making a small ai project of my own, do you think Mycroft is a good place to start?

Is anyone else excited about Mycroft and the Mycroft Mark II? If I had any disposable income, I'd throw money at their Kickstarter cause it looks very promising.
