Me last Sunday:
“Ohh boy, I’ve been working on my game for last 6 days, and I made lots of progress! I’m gonna take a break today!”
*starts coding side project*1 -
4 week summer vacation over. Did not code any sideprojects and opened laptop only to watch netflix on vacation (Stranger Things ❤️). My liver will be pleased that its over. Tomorrow back to work, hopefully I remember how to code again 😜9

Should I switch from Electrical Engineering to Comp Sci?
I am about to start my second semester at college. I took programming 101 and realized I might like coding more than engineering. All the classes I have taken are inside the Comp Sci. Courses in my university so I would not be losing time if I switch now.
Also I started messing around with Android Studio with some friends and that made me realize how easy comparison it is to make a good portfolio and have sideprojects.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.6 -
My last exam in this semester will be tomorrow on engineering management. I didn't learn much for it yet because I started learning angular 2 and keep working on a new sideproject with it.. If I fail my next semester will cost a large sum of money but I still can't gather enough will power.. HELP!3

Hey I recently started working and had a few questions regarding fulfillment and sideprojects.
Although I am a game programmer now, the game we are making is not at all something I find interesting. I find myself wanting to work on some side Projects at home but its difficult to manage my time (obviously) and I cant really relax.
I do enjoy the work making the game, like, I like making the systems, I enjoy programming it, but I dislike the gameplay and the games thematics, so its a mixed bag.
I only worked there for 2 months and the game takes at least all of next year to be made. I dont want to quit, because its my first job and all and it would be stupid I dont really habe a reason to quit.
I guess I just want to hear how others are handling a situation like this2 -
I was happy doing my sideprojects.
Then the landlord came...
Needless to say he wasn't interested in the source code...1 -
I’m looking to start a mastermind group for those of us with side projects who would like to see them become more than that, and would appreciate a weekly sounding board / advice session from those in a similar boat.
If your interested in finding out more ++ this and drop me a note to mastermind [at] jamespearson.email -
