Btw, I gonna tell you guys what Racism is. Something weirdly not allowed why everything else is weirdly enough. It's the hypocritest thing ever, and if someone calls you a racist, it's never friendly, that person just judged you and gave his unasked opinion to you which is considered an insult at the same time. The only correct responce in being called a racist is responding with "fuck you". Racism is something that all people in this thread shouldn't worry too much about I guess. Only, the Asian one, because he has a small pp :p. For true racism, go to 9gag. That's what real racism is. Once it was just jokes but that's escalated. Also, they HATE women now there, it's not just jokes anymore.

@kanyewest dude, you're the biggest troll in history, but that's OK. Some others are quiet recently. We need one.
-
@D-4got10-01 yh, but who's gonna buy software from a company adding commercial stuff and appearantly can see whatever you do on your locally hosted software. I'm practically hosting a spam bot now.
-
@BordedDev I just left the room seconds ago / back tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll make serious meters with the snek. The online snek is still version of two days ago. I gonna focus on snek more bevause talking with real people is better than AI. Snek will make more people happy. I'm happy that it looks good already
-
@BordedDev oh, you're talking about the molodetz site? That ons is broken indeed. I thought you were taking about retoorded.molodetz.nl. For now, enough AI. AI is very exhausting to work on. It's not the happy typing it normally is. It's a lot of trying and testing. I gonna sleepii. Enough for today. Dobranich

@BordedDev it works great here, but it talks to itself. Even sound effects from clippy works. Maybe you have to search deep for microphone settings... There's a reason not many people use this tech. Several.
-
@BordedDev ah, do you just see empty screen? Tap one time and hell show. Because of security of chrome use has to start an interaction.
-
@BordedDev it can even change his own design.
-
To give an idea about how commercial they became:
Hello Retoor,
This is an automated message.
We could not find a support contract for your organization, which probably means you are using a Community Workspace or you are subscribed to the Starter Plan, for which we do not offer dedicated support.
If you believe this is a mistake, please ensure you are using your company email address, or have your team's designated Authorized User submit the ticket instead. If neither helps, please reach out to your CSM. -
@BordedDev what browser do yo use? On phone (android) works fine with speech and all and quick but it can repeat itself. often.
-
I am on molodetz.nl in room #molodetz btw. I have made python asyncio protocol class AI bots
-
@BordedDev meth would help great for programming, amphetamine already does miracles.
-
@D-4got10-01 yes, that's the reason, i did not do an IP ban or something :P I refuse to use nazi tech.
-
@Tounai jokes on you, molodetz does have a in C written chat server.
-
Ah cool, you're actually doing it. I wouldn't accept invalid HTML at all, or even not HTML for starters. If you take that all at once you'll become crazy. You're making it in zig right? I would start with looking at a python example on GPT I guess. Just for the base approach. Python examples are always nice. When does the parsing get hard? It only parses or transpiles to HTML?
-
I had one time that I was 100% sure that I would get it and didn't get it. I really was like "what the fuck happened". I was qualified, socially good match (most important often). Something must have happened. A company is as happy as you are with finding right match.
A few days? Oh, I would count on a week or so. But sometimes it's even the same day indeed. But a few days.. Give it some time :) -
@djsumdog since writing and sharing content is your hobby just quitting it is not a solution, but to most people facing such issues i recommend just stop wanting to be part of that whole world. It's a world. People caring about other stuff than the main topics are entering the scene everywhere. And sadly, I think especially the people who have it quite good - like us IT people - are tending silence every voice that's a bit critical for a 'safer' world. I said today that I had several bad experiences with people from India today on dR. While it's just a normal statement / fact, Reddit would've have done thousand down votes and a ban or something. Especially Reddit is scary, all the same people, all the same posts, it's probably where the dead internet theory starts or will end. Those people became trained LLM's themselves.
For me it's easy to say goodbye, but for you as a write not I guess. Sorry for you. But all this shit will end someday! I'm sure! We get tired. -
@djsumdog I'm very sorry, i'm using GPT to summarize your articles :P You must be quite pissed right now :P
-
@djsumdog so the only place where you are boring is here? Thanks a lot! :P
Cure that you think you've deleted your FB, you can deactivate it, but deleting is a no no. I also deleted it once. Then, in some future I needed it again and could just 'restore' my original account, and there wit was, with all relations in tact.
One does not simply delete facebook. Sadly don't have time to read all the articlles now, but i'm very interested what you've did to get banned so much :P -
I already see just 3 issues on just this screenshot. I think I'll continue that first tonight. Than I've wasted a whole day and night on that stupid thing so I can do something fun tomorrow like the snek app. Danger noodle chat.
-
But first i have to send passport to awesomemeest for NDA signing, we're about to do a project together probably. Believe it or not, but someday even I have to work sometimes :(. Nah, it will be fun.
-
Even if it would support 30 (it's impossible to get it that slow I guess), it's a success in my eyes. Be pragmatic, not thousands of users are gonna use this software.
I think I will do:
- rapid development now, focus on features.
- register
- login
- (group) chat
- sharing images
And then I will do a feature freeze and make a decent portfolio project on it with some coding quality. I have to convince myself first that the project is fun enough / worth the effort before investing in quality. It's gonna be the MVP approach. -
@BordedDev / @D-4got10-01 I am working on the chat application replacement for slack. The front-end is already good (generated): https://snek.molodetz.nl/test. For me that's a big deal, I'm terrible in graphical shit. I can spend ages without making smth beautiful so I'm happy that I have this good looking thing. From my perspective, the worst part is done! :P I am implementing form validation myself and it goes well in exception of styling the custom components. But the forms will look like as shown in the mentioned page. The moment that:
- registration works
- logging in works
- basic (group) chat works
I will deploy it directly for use.
I also considered IRC for a while but decided that it's really too old. Native it even does not support file file transfers. If you want to build a wrapper on top of that, it's probably easier to build everything yourself. Ofc, the original IRC servers would handle more users, but my server will do a few thousand too prolly. -
@Demolishun Since you're also a C programmer, play for fun with the Python C API. It's freaking amazing. I'm writing a proxy interceptor that can replace contents in a http stream (kinda man in the middle, can be used for preventing sensitive data leaks and suck, You could block certain names for people that prefer to work under and alias) using C but make the intercepting rules completely configurable with python. So now, my C proxy intercerceptor can use thanks to python even AI! It's such a powerful combination while doing 5k/s requests. The python functions are full time in C memory. The hardest part of extending python using C is finding a use case :P Python is actually good itself on its own for 99.9% of stuff. But it's just fun I guess.
-
@Demolishun Yh, from my point of few a burka in inhumane but I saw recently on TV some women of a country where they wear that and they loved how the men treated them - they do receive more respect from men than the average western girl. I know that sound completely crazy - what respect is there if you get 'forced' to wear such thing?.. Well, it's a kinda, you may have everything but .... Kinda deal. Bigger issue in my eyes is that they're expected not to work. Sounds good, but it should be possible. If a woman can't find a guy or wants to leave a guy, she's fucked. No work experience, certain age etc. The thing is - man depended by force... Most of the muslim ladies are used to that and don't see the issue I guess. And that's not understandable and thus a culture difference. The nicest way to describe batshit crazy stuff. Btw, you don't have to respect that shit at all. I tolerate it at its top. Respect would be a lane to far. They're doing stuff very forbidden in my culture.
-
@Demolishun Idiomatic python is very famous in dem python world. Almost every python dev knows it. We had a book at the office, it's a smoll one. It's not that much. Some guide lines. Do you know the zen of python? You have to be Dutch for that maybe. Open python and type `import this`.
-
@lorentz yeah, you can. But after all that work your project is still at the same % of completion. Put on backlog and move on to something new. Meters meters meters :) How further you get in the project, the more gets clear what is worth to refactor in the end. Refactoring up front pure for beauty of code is just a waste imho. A project killer :P
-
@jestdotty Ah yes, Dunning Kruger stuff. Yeah, everyone has that syndrome several times in their life's I guess. Maybe even full time. That's good, it means that you're developing. It's better than being master of literally none. And who tells you, that you are the one having dunning Kruger? For example, my friend calls himself a professional web developer but he literally doesn't know how the HTTP protocol works and even the idea of writing a web server yourself makes him laugh "OH NO, THERE ARE OTHER KIND OF PEOPLE FOR THAT". Funny, that's why I think about the real AI stuff, but not from a freaking webserver. I have a fetisj building such servers since 15th or so and i do know quite some standards regarding lengths of fields / headers and stuff and differences between HTTP 0.9/1.0/1.1 and on top of that WebDav. Currently working on a HTTP intercepting proxy. It should support chunking, web sockets, keep alive everything. I have to update content length if i intercept.
-
@tosensei that's correct. But that's not an network depended appliance. And what is the problem if you can indeed use those libraries? So you have the advanced number speed with the perfect glue which is python. Python is doing it so well - nobody does machine training in C itself, only components like tensorflow and stuff. Python is just unbeatable in glueing stuff together and dev performance.
So again: python is not slow. You can use fast libraries indeed. Bam, fast python. -
@lorentz ah, yh, you could make a seperate function for all those things but i do not really see a need if a function is only used once. It sound like a quite valid case tbh. Refactoring this has no value in progress probably so i would leave it like that I guess. You got two kinds of people: people who write clean code and people who get shit done.
