My company just fired 20 people, and the next day instuted a program so salaried employees have to clock in and out. Of course not to effect our pay, just to keep their paranoid asses breathing down our necks. Also, no clocking in remotely so all the work I do from home won't be taken into account. Fucking micromanaging, ball-licking, scum-fuck, MBA, morons couldn't run a company if their lives depended on it. When will these soul-less, suit-wearing, shit-scarffers learn that treating your employees with respect and valueing actual work over bullshit metrics, is a better business strategy than treating them like fucking sheep to the slaughter. Fml, I gotta find a new job...33

This is when writing a script that sets up your dev environment pays off...
Having 6 new employees join our startup. The script installs pretty much all dev tools and apps as well as sets up the device management profiles. 😎24 -
Boss 1: You have such a dedicated team of workers, how do you make them all come in time?
Boss 2: Its simple, 30 employees, 20 parking spaces.14 -

My last employer lost 6 devs and 2 designers within a month because they thought money could buy them the right to treat employees like shit.

Uncle: I need a app for my company.
Me: Sure. What for?
Uncle: Managing my employees on the fly.
Me: So you need a backend, server cost around 20$ month.
Uncle: hmm ok I talk to you next time.
This happens literally with everyone that asks me for a App :/11 -
When my very angry boss assaulted a colleage with a plate. We both quit practically on the spot.
He only had two full time employees.12 -
October - Hired
November - Hear that CEO 2 was stealing the company money
December - Dismissing 6 persons. CEO 1 says to me that, since I'm the last hired, I'll be the first dismissed.
March - Company doesn't get better. Dismissing 3 persons... still there.
May - Company doesn't get better. Dismissing 2 persons... still there.
July - Company doesn't get better. Dismissing 9 persons... still there.
Now, with the remaining money the company should live for about 2 years and not dismiss employees anymore.
We were 25 employees, where are 4 now. I feel like the winner of Survivor.10 -

And yeah, hiring someone who has experience in that framework would be helpful too.7 -
lol what? My company offers $5k for referring full time employees... and $10k for referring female technologists.
As a female software engineer, makes me deeply uncomfortable.14 -
Today I feel like a monster.
Due to the optimizations/automatizations I have made to the processes in my job, some low level employees are not longer required.... Ever again.
Their last day of work was yesterday, but I'm still uneasy if this is how life is now. If every job will be removed to be made by machines.10 -
Yesterday,
I was a bit drunk.
But I wanted to improve security of the company. So, I went in Azure and activated “Security defaults” which forces MFA for all users in the company. (Because RH always forget to enable MFA for new employees, and I actually care about security)
Then I went in office 365 management and instead of resetting MFA for all users (Forcing everyone to redo MFA setup), I (by mistake) clicked on reset all passwords.
I tested my own account it was fine and went to sleep.
Got a call from CEO at 7am, all 30 employees cannot login in, cannot work.
What a shit show I made…
I have a call with CEO in about 2 hours, I don’t even know how to justify myself…
So children: don’t activate company wide options while drunk. Ever.23 -
The company I work for have this obsession of sending phishing emails to employees. If you report the email you get a message saying good job. If you fail, and you open it you have to have a meeting with your boss and stuff. They do this multible times a week.
So now we have this situation where a lot of important emails get deleted as collateral damage, as the employees are parnoid of opening them. Fantastic system with no flaws at all.🤔🤔7 -
What if some day devrant starts getting bigger and has a lot of employees? What happens if they start ranting too?8

I want to vomit everytime rich people in upper management says stupid shit like "working for money in this company is a sin. Work for higher reason"

One time was in a meeting with clients from abroad (big company with some offices in the US). After the meeting we went to a restaurant with the clients. Then one hour later our CEO shows up and starts tanking beers like crazy and gets super wasted. Then starts asking the client if they have a job for him in the US. He doesnt want to run his company anymore because all his employees are fuckung idiots blahblah. Then he asks me you understand right you have seen my employees they are fucking stupid. Uhm yeah dude I work for you... *awkward sillence, continues chugging beers, changes topic*4

I'm happy that Twitter employees just up and left when Elon Musk tried to bully them into working 100-hour weeks or have them leave the company. (According to what I read online).
It's not about the downfall of Twitter, but the employees showing the world that they can get better jobs elsewhere, if they are pushed over the edge.
I hope it sends a message to all douchebag CEOs and managers around the world that do the same kinda thing.14 -

Yesterday my employer banned the use of all wireless keyboards and mice due to security concerns. This applies to all employees, including our many remote employees (I wonder how they plan to enforce that). I’m trading in my nice quiet wireless keyboard for some Cherry MX blues to protest. I really liked my current keyboard and mouse too. RIP8

`Front-End`, the software that is used by our customers.

When my company signs a contract with employees, they put the income as minimum wage, and verbally agree with him that they'll pay the rest of the income (which is about 3 times the minimum wage) as extra work, so they wont pay a lot for taxes. The employee has no choice but to accept.
But when the pay time comes, the company will only pay the minimum wage, making employees unable to sue.
This ultimately causes employees doing things like moving all project files to pen drives, telling the CEO about it, making the CEO run after them to the streets begging for the pen drive, and when he finally softens and gives them the drive, they open the zip files inside it to see (I shit you not) images of people flipping the bird.

Concerning my last rant, some explanation:
In short:
Skype and security agencies spy on all the people.
More context:
To the extent, that Skype employees suffer mentally from excessive porn.
That's what large amounts of users did on this platform the last two decades.
So the affected had to bring their case to national, maybe even super national courts.
Which gave in to their claim.
Thus bringing the employees into another salary category, so, compensating the damage done.
What sounds like a unions topic reveals large scale mass surveillance of everybody without exception.
And describes some effort in machine led (picture) recognition.2 -

Senior management just had a covid opening up party, streamed it on YouTube in the middle of the office with not a single person wearing a mask or social distancing. Encouraging employees to come back to working in the offices.
I AM FUCKING DONE. IM DONE.
It hasn't been a week since one of our employees died and these were the same people who emailed the team asking to donate towards the bereaved family.
This isn't even a rant. It baffles me that narcissistic bullshit like this is legal. How can anyone be that fucking stupid? Just how. Explain this shit to me. Because these aren't total assholes. They're generally nice people outside of work. Why is it that anything touched by corporate greed gets corrupted to the point of inhumanity.
Nope.6 -

It pains most when a colleague left the company for good since OJT. Worst is leaving the company without a pay, no refund for not remitted governmentt benefits. New York Councilman Proposes Bill That Would Grant NYC Workers 'Right To Disconnect'
"(...) advocating for the rights of employees to stop answering work-related emails and other digital messages, like texts, after official work hours. (...) got the idea from France, where a bill passed early last year by the Ministry of Labor requires companies of over 50 employees to define out-of-office email rules. (...) And the New York version of the "Right to Disconnect" bill includes exemptions for jobs that require 24-hour on-call periods."

So I recently found out that just about every other company in this town pays their devs with equivalent experience at least 25% more than what my current employer does.
I requested a salary meeting and informed my boss that I'm way below the average for my position, he replied "Yeah, your salary has been below average for years now, yet you are my best employee in this area".
It hurts that he very well knew this fact and still decided not do to anything about it before I brought it up.
I told him that I don't feel rewarded for all my hard work and overtime, so I requested a 25% bump or I'm leaving in January.9 -

Getting drunk texts from my employees that just remembered something to do at night on a Saturday is definitely one of the highlights of my weekend.
I don't trip, poor dudes get fucking tasked out of the ass by the entire institution, and whilst I try to shield them from bullshit as much as I can their duties entail a lot of stuff, if they forgot to do 1 task out of the fucking 100s of shit they are asked to do on a daily basis that is fine really. I am never going to shit on them for it. It happens, specially when you are understaffed and everyone has thousands of additional duties. I really try man.
But yeh, them drunk texts are funny af. Makes me think exactly what the fuck were these dudes going through that somehow something clicked and reminded them of a pending item.6 -

We have a lack of personnel in our company. We do not receive applications via job advertisements or advertising.
Our company is modern, has good project planning and employees receive company cars. Projects made in react, node, php, java and python.
So, how can we find new employees? Which way are you going?19 -
“Begin your onboarding and assimilation program.” Are new employees joining a company or the Borg? I guess it’s ok so long as the next line doesn’t say “Resistance is futile.”
-
To any CEOs that berade there employees for only getting something 99% correct even though the team is less than 3 weeks old, FUCK YOU. That shit is not motivating and you just fucked up any motivation your employees had for being excited to build your product.3
-
My company have become fucking douche bag! I have been working overtime everyday day till late nights for 2 weeks including one weekend and I got a notice for slow work just because I was not able to work on the second weekend because of health issues. Fuck this insensitive shit company treating employees as a piece of shit!8

If there's one thing I've learned from a-hole co-employees, it is to avoid ending up being like them.3

"You should accept your employees for who they are and optimize for their abilities. I am a night owl, always have been, always will be. I am done trying to work in the mornings—it is a waste of time as I am not effective and make more mistakes when I try to work at this time."

Got an interview call from one company yesterday. They wanted to know how much active are mine GitHub and Stackoverflow accounts. When I asked how much time they give to employees to promote open source and community work, they didn't had any answer. Seriously? Wtf. At least don't ask if you don't promote open source and community contribution.2

f*** my company (80 people) was aquired today by the biggest telecom company in Switzerland. At least we can still work under our own brand more or less independently for now. What drives me crazy is that I land again in the same company where I was in my apprenticeship and have sworn not to return due to the size of the company (20k employees)!4

I'll tell all my dev employees to use devrant. Why? Because I'll definitely rant about him/her, so he should do the same about me.1

After 24 hours waiting for Xcode 9 to finish download, I run it on an existing project and got greeted with this:
Indexing Text
For fucknsake you piece of shit! Because indexing project isn't enough now Xcode index text! What the fuck are Apple employees smoking 😔4 -
The more frustrated I get with a project the less my commit messages are expressive about the code changes and the more the end up reflecting my disposition. I'm sorry to all future employees who may want to know what I did but hopefully you get a laugh.5

The coffee/food room on my floor is absurd.
On day, the Keurig machines, microwave oven and convection oven all disappeared. Turns out they were owned by some employees and when they moved to an other floor they took their stuff with them.
In the caffeine-deprived panic that ensued, a bunch of other employees pooled together some money and went across the street to purchase new applicances.
They now charge us 5¢ for each packet of sugar or milk/cream cup. And they announced it with a passive-aggressive poster with an angry dog on it.2 -
So...
After about a month and a half of lots of interviews with 2 different companys, BOTH of them offered me a job last night.
One is a big digital agency in my country (~2000 employees) the other one is a smaller development firm (~200 employees).
It feels sad to have to deny the smaller one but the bigger one is a dream job for me due to the fact that thet focus a lot more on new tech compared to the smaller one.
But i have never been happier in my life!
It is a dream come true!3 -
How the fuck did my company decide a single toilet stall is enough? Are they really this cheap? Why must I go to the bathroom three times before I can actually use it? Why do they think one is enough for 100 male employees? In their defence, they do have urinals, but I'm not comfortable using them.
So many questions and I STILL NEED TO GO!4 -
We have 7000+ employees and I'm the only one who do dev work. IT had special meetings how to handle my requests. In the end they told me to buy a separate laptop and keep it outside the network. Suits me fine :)4

I worked a whole year in a company for which I produced 30 software and none of them saw the publication even though they were completed. I was the most productive employee and had a productivity of 428% compared with the other employees.
All because of the constant changes in business strategies.
For a moment I believed to be a pirate ship during a storm. When I was tired of the way they were treating employees, months of backlog payments, unpaid leave or not granted, I quit and I was told to me that I was a bad employee and I was unproductive.
In a month he is left only the designer working. At the moment the company in question is still looking for employees, after more than a year no one wanted to work again. Stupid me.
While I ras looking for another job I did freelance for a month, gaining about five times my earlier pay. -

Sharepoint intranet - took around 45 seconds to log in and open start page for the whole first year. Specialist went in to help. Now it only takes half a minute.
With 7000+ employees it means over 50 hours of wasted time _every day_ just from opening the start page once per employee and day.3 -
11:30 in my timezone. Was supposed to wrap-up meeting for project finalization 3 hours ago. Sitting here rn, listening to a coworker in management explain the importance of equal respect for all employees in the company. The Boss has left the meeting because he has "better" things to do. FML4

Fuck my current manager. Doesn't even know how to treat his employees. Always demotivates whatever we do and never gets satisfied.....so am in search of a new job!!!😕2

Also stop trying to micro manage your employees... Like actually wtf...1 -
Started a new job, then I found out that the salary of the person in charge of me has lower/same as I have.
How did I know? I looked at the API without authentication of all the list of employees.
Luckily, I didn't sign the contract yet5 -
so, i got a job in a company with 140 employees. they wanted me to work 9 hours a day, 30 min rest time and i had to pay for everything like lunch and even coffee. if i get to work late or leave work early they would punish me.
Oh god...6 -
About 5 years ago I stopped pirating and started supporting companies by buying subscriptions or software ( mostly games, apps I use at work, tv shows / movies streaming services ). If it requires payment, I paid the price.
Companies started to screw both customers by delivering shitty products and employees by laying off ( I'm not in a big company, never will be but I feel bad for all the employees that are in this situation )
Started pirating everything, closed almost all of my subscriptions, currently building my home server for git, local ai and anything I need.
Now I'm planning to do some research to find some good replacements for cloudflare and a friendly host provider that is not all greed and doesn't have a history of massively laying off employees just because they overhired or overpromised.
Fuck you greedy capitalist pigs.2 -
Been working for a guy who seems not to care about his employees... Haven't been paid for the last 3 months of 2016.

Freshly failed gloriously my degree in interaction design. Now I stumbled into a new job, doing a fullscale company advertisment campaign on cybersecurity for 6500 employees. Alone. Writing concept, gathering stakeholder, requirements and shit. I'm scared.4

I'm so tired of being on the second floor of this shitty office building. There is a constant vibration from all the employees walking around; moreover, someone walks down the aisle beside my cube...it's like a small fucking earthquake. A group or really fat person walks by? Shit's falling off my walls. Damn it all. 👊
-
True reason of unemployment-
Firstly companies hire people to make their software automate and then after successful completion of the project, the company terminates most of the employees.4 -
Management noticed that employees are spending too much time on social media sites such as stackoverflow and ordered IT to block it2
-
Last year, one of our government organizations' websites' edit page was editable without login credentials... People can easily modify or even delete a company. They had a login functionality for employees and was pretty much useless.
-
I work at a place where all the employees are pretty much on the user side of the spectrum and they have 3 chromebooks. Some would think that's not really a problem, chromebooks are fine for simple tasks BUT they weren't able to setup the printer correctly so they were only able to print one copy at a time. These people never used anything other than Windows and they already struggle with that, so I think it was a waste of money for the company, and I'm pretty sure they just went for it because it was cheaper. It's a fucking joke, since their employees prefer to bring their pcs to work and only one of the chromebooks is being used.2
-
I'm so glad I'm leaving my company soon. Big international group. At the moment they've started to change everything at our desks to make a giant open-space. Ignoring that literally 100% of the studies prove it's a bad idea for worker productivity and health. And then they dare lie to our faces that it's more productive, increases communication and makes employees happier.
Sure, with that they make savings and can add more desks... for contractors because fuck having real employees right ? It's much better to be able to fire them whenever they want !!
NO IT DOES NOT YOU FUCK FACES
FUCK OPEN SPACES, FUCK YOUR SAVINGS AND FUCK YOU -
So after multiple hours of wrestling with Jira I finally managed to autofill fields in the service desk. How? By installing a plugin to show message boxes and injecting JavaScript through it, what else?
Fucking wonderful piece of crap :)
Next up: automatically capture errors triggered by employees with Sentry and raise Jira requests. "A button didn't work" isn't enough god damn it. -
Atlassian bitbucket you sad sorry piece of shit. I can see an old coworker's PR in the list but you won't accept it as a valid search target under the author searchbox, but even older ex-employees are searchable. What the flying fuck, go out of business.

I can't help but smirk when my company gets a project that requires knowledge on something I warned them about over half a year ago. This happens regularly but every time we have to get that knowledge during the project, costing the customer additional money.
When will management learn that training your employees will benefit them :(3 -
Why do we rant here? Why can’t companies allow a safe space for their employees to vent out their woes? Or does that just add tension/make the workplace heated coz managers or co-workers could be sensitive to criticism? Or we’re just too stressed and overwhelmed that our woes don’t make sense(and we know it) but we gotta let it out some times? Lol16
-
I heard MS doesn't provide employees with a developer special image, meaning once you get / format a pc, you've to install every damn piece of sw from VS to SQL to node... on your own.
Why ??????????????3 -
When you spend months conditioning certain employees to send out everyone@ emails by BCC but someone stilll insists on opening the notification floodgates by replying to all by CC anyway...1

HR demands everyone to fill in a form to give compliments to all employees of the company for the "national compliment day" in 2 days. You literally have to write something for all employees including people you have never met or heard they existed.
What a time waste.4 -
Start up leadership advice:
Believe your employees when they say they feel a certain way, or saw there's a problem. Fight the urge to defend what you're currently doing that may address it, and just hear them out.4 -

# Work at anytime.

!ran Why cant companies work with employees over skype and other software instead of everybody having to physically go to a workplace?
Wouldn't it be more convinient to just connect over such softwares, and share code over github and stuff?
Or what is the reason that companies want to have their employees in a building?
No workplace = less money spent?
I'm not in a job yet and have no experience out of highschool working else where.
I'm just curious on what your opinions are.6 -

Few months back I got a decent increment as a token of appreciation for my good work.
Yesterday we all received a Special townhall meeting invitation.
We all were wondering what it was about. Now my colleague who sits beside was guessing that it may be about a salary revision and she complained that she didn't get any increment last time.
Inner me: Why the heck company should increment your salary for the shitty work you do.
You are simply incapable of doing what you are supposed to do.
You spend more time talking crap rather than trying to learn and use it to write some non shitty code.
You should be thankful to the company for not firing you.1 -
Anyone else work at a company where the employees don't know the difference between a developer and a help desk person??3

What's the smallest size start-up company you would work for? The American dream, of course, is to own your own company. If that option were off the table, would you work as a developer for a startup company that only had 3 other employees, including the CEO?4

It’s 2019.
* Google employee reviews.
* Maybe check out how volatile their stock prices are (if they’re publicly traded).
* Use LinkedIn to find their employees and then stalk them on Facebook and see what kind of content they post.
* If you can’t tell from that, just DM them. Tell them why you’re contacting them and ask for their honest opinion. -

How was your experience working for a software development agency? How big was the company (number of employees and projects)?2
-
Some of the software companies haunt their former employees to maintain the projects they worked on before leaving them, even if these companies know they have a full-time new job.4
-
It always amuses me when companies pay only "competitively", don't create a good working culture and then complain about high turnover. Money pays bills no matter what. Employees don't jump (easily) to other jobs when the pay isn't significant better. But if your culture is toxic, employees even take a paycut just to get out.2
-
Finally! The most incompetent C-level has decided to leave the company. He did fire most of the old dev team & a lot of other people and employed people he already knew.
I think he did fire around 20-25 people and hired new people or people he know. Our company cosists of 40 employees :D1 -

There, that's how you get promoted.5 -
The old company I was working at, was absolutely treating their new employees as shit. Everything was handled by the old timers who "knew how the world worked" (to those, TDD was useless, because as proven by this company only, it was a waste of time).
Everything that the new employees or "young talent" came up with, had to be talked through in a senior group, without the young talent. Never got anywhere, their software was absolute garbage (yet worked by sheer magic!!!!)
Today I learned that a former coworked had hos LinkedIn account say "[company]: waste of time."
And before you say "No company you work for, is a waste of time, as a software dev." i say, working for this company made you a worse developer. By. The. Fucking. Day.1 -
Do due diligence. Research the prospective employer. If possible, find out what their employees say about them on Glassdoor, and where they rank on Forbes best places to work.

We have been strongly adviced to be working from home until further notice. Schools are closed, so if employees have have who are now to stay at home rather than at school AND if WFH is going to be too much of a trouble, these employees can either take vacation days OR get a med cert from a doctor and stay at home w/o having to work (yes, considering the situation our govmt allows legal slacking for parents).
Normally I'd be excited to be told to WFH. But nowdays it just feels so.. normal... everyone's got that privilege.1 -

So I was browsing glassdoor the other day to find out opinions about particular company and out of curiosity I also have check my first company I worked for and OH BOI, old memories that were buried and forgotten long time ago, came back after reading just a few feedbacks.
IT WAS DREADFUL PLACE.
To give a context that company has ~80 written negative feedbacks with 12 years on the market and never exceeding 50-60 employees, while other companies I worked for with ~5k employees, more then 20 years on the market have roughly ~100 written negative feedbacks each. -

funny how linkedin lunatics compare "not taking job due to multiple offers" to "not giving a job after giving a job offer"
this may seem similar, but on one side there's a company, with running operations and having multiple employees to take up on the work load of the leaving employee. even if some guy backed out on an offer, they still have employees and can continue their search.
but on other side their is an employee serving 60-90 days notice period. he/she have put a notice period due to a job guarantee and is out of livelihood if offer is rescinded2 -

Since a month or so ago all new employees have Windows 10 on their laptops. Today suddenly our HR had mailed to all the employees that after 6 days all employees' post resignation notice period will be changed
- from 1 month (old) to 3 months (new) for under probation employees &
- from 2 months (old) to 3 months (new) for permanent employees.
Even logically this seems to be too stretched up for IT service company based in the India.
My question is how much legal is this?
I googled but answers were for Indian labor laws which are not applicable to the IT company according to my knowledge.5 -
When oracle employees decide to add new "feature":
How can we add feature X so it can be the user new most terrible nightmare?
When oracle employees decide to update an existed "feature":
We have discovered that the users of feature X have found a work-around to make it useful, we need to update that feature to make it the users most terrible nightmare ever, and we would like to make the upgrade/installation process break everything else installed on their machines without possible way of recovering, and if it worked by any chance we would like to make that process frustrating as fuck.7 -
When you come to work at 6am (2h before other employees) to solve problem that was blocking everybody in the team and before you finish boss takes you to the meeting that newer ends and is just a waste of time. Ten hours work day, paid for eight and job not done. I hate days like this one.

One manager at the Client company tells us that unless we submit weekly timesheets we wont get paid.

Working in a company where you can't even have your recent tabs when opening the browser and have the stupid corporate start page. I have to choose to accept an internship offer for dev role between company A and company B (potential PPO at both).
Company A: Unicorn startup ~3000 employees. A disruptor.
Company B: Early stage startup ~30 employees but has funding and all. Also, sounds promising. Loved their interview process.
Both are interesting to me and pay almost equally. Any inputs ranters?8 -

Folks,
My current employer is service based. Its a good work culture and everything, But..
They are not evaluating their employees skills and stuff. They assign roles of employee on the basis of their business needs, which is fine at certain extend.
But this ultimately causing some employees (including me) to Not have the role we have expertise in.
What to do in such situation? Switching is the only way?2 -

So, management seem laser focused on hiring folks with work visa. What’s up with that? The latest five new employees. At least two of them utterly useless (have not worked with the others).
These are devs. ”Senior” as stated by closest manager. 😬 Yeah…ok.
It such a worthless leadership. It’s alot about
”We successfully filled the position for a senior developer”
or
”I am happy to announce that the new release manager for system X has been hired”
All about numbers. Closing the deal. Never about quality.
I guess salary is a BIG issue here and that is why we see this. I have no problem with VISA employees. But they seem bad at what-they-are-doing. Just…incompetent. *sigh*2 -
I can't believe we've gotten to a stage of capitalism that saying "Employees need work-life balance" is controversial.2

New to the development field. Is it standard to give managers a lump of money to distribute as raises to their employees? Essentially, the only way I get a good raise is if all my peers suck AND are over the minimum pay for their position. WTF pay raise doesn't depend on individual performance?3

Noob here. I'm an Android guy, looking to create a web app. Looking for pointers on where to get started learning. It's going to be enterprise level. Basically a hub of operations for small companies ~10-30 employees. Handle a lot of private info, see need to be secure.3

Last employer -- a major health care insurance carrier -- had over a million current and former subscribers data in SQL database with no encryption on SSN or other personally identifiable information. I reported this as an issue, and was told that since they had intrusion detection, etc. they don't need to encrypt the data. Guess they have never heard of zero day vulnerabilities or disgruntled employees?

Finding that you can disable users from changing their Win desktop background picture in the Registry.
Endless hours of fun and amusement and a great way to teach employees that we have an ISO to abide by.3 -
While developing whatever website that uses Boostrap, my boss always says:
"PLEASE JUST USE BOOTSTRAP CLASSES to make it easier for everyone else to actually operate on that after you're done"
I'm now working on a project started by him and OMG the mess.
The only bootstrap classes he's using are col-* and text-*, the rest is all custom classes like nopad, which is the equivalent of p-0 m-0.
I mean, I might get you use less bytes writing nopad, but be consistent with what you say7 -
I switched jobs and saw new office today. Also found out that this branch has 10 recruiters. This is outsourcing company, not recruiting company. Why the hell they need 10 recruiters in office that has capacity for 70 employees wtf...2

What is the best way to install iOS app for employees in a company?
Disclaimer, I'm no iOS developer.
In 2019 my boss asked if I could make a small iOS app. 3 forms which will have CRUD operations. I did it because I wanted to learn iOS development. The company got an Apple Developer Account and it finished the project within the week. The app can be used only from work's wifi, so if you try to use it outside that network will not work.
The issue is license. When I install the app from my XCode to one of the employees' iPhone, the app will work for 1 year (if I have paid for Developer Account). Also every time I make an update, the employee have to come to me with the iPhone and I have to install it directly.
Yesterday I submitted the app for Testing using TestFlight. The app updates automatically, but today I got notification that the "Submission for testing is rejected", because the tester could not connect with the server.
My question is, How do you install iOS apps for your work employees? I do not want to get Enterprise account because that will cost.5 -
Project Manager: Our employees are not receptive to the new internal app we built
Dev: Have you tried making airplane noises when you show it to them?1 -
The main problem when working with a staff of programmers: you never know what the employees are doing, until it turns out that the deadline has already come.😫1
